I'm a Registered Psychologist and have been practicing since 2006. I have worked with clients aged from five years old through to geriatric populations in the treatment of: Depressive Disorders; Anxiety Disorders; Bipolar Disorders; Schizophrenia and Schizoaffective Disorder; Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder; Trauma- and Stressor-Related Disorders; Gender Dysphoria; Substance-Related and Addictive Disorders, and Personality Disorders.
I am neuro-affirming in my approach and have a strong interest in working with Autistic people, ADHD-ers and AuDHD-ers. I've worked across education, public mental health, forensic, occupational rehabilitation, non-profit organisations and private practice settings.
I draw from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and Schema Therapy (ST) in a considered and flexible way to tailor therapy to meet the needs of my clients. I also have 14 years of experience working with couples and doing dyadic work within family units, and am able to provide couples counselling and help children and parents of any age to work on their relationship(s).

I'm a warm, friendly, safe, non-judgmental and open-minded Psychologist who provides a space where clients feel comfortable and cared for. I have a refreshing sense of humour and honest style of therapy. I'm a member of the LGBTIQA+ community and have a passion for working with clients also from this community, including individuals and couples. I'm an animal lover and clients have the opportunity to benefit from the presence of Professor Wilson, one of my rescue dogs.
I'm available to see children (aged 5+), adolescents and adults on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 10am - 6pm. |
